Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage a Lead Business Intelligence Delivery Manager to be an integral part of a program team that is transforming the Data & Analytics capability of the Agency. The role will require close coordination on platform implementation with the IT function, with the Data & Analytics Branch, and broad stakeholder engagement, planning and communication.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation and rollout of the BI platform across the NDIA, including provision of training and platform adoption;
• Manage a team of Product Owners to lead the redevelopment of D&A Branch legacy reports on the new BI platform;
• Manage the decommissioning of the existing SAS Grid and Salesforce Analytics Studio (CRM-A) platforms.
• Lead a Data and/or Analytics team to deliver project outcomes to a high quality, managing risks and issues along the way

Essential criteria:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing implementation and adoptions of contemporary cloud-based (Azure or AWS) enterprise BI platforms;
• Demonstrated expertise leading IT, Data and/or Analytics teams to deliver change programs to achieve identified business objectives and benefits;
• Demonstrated expertise managing skilled data and/or analytics resources and ensuring a high level of quality in the team’s output, while balancing delivery timeline pressures
• Demonstrated expertise leading delivery outcomes as part of a large-scale transformation program using industry best practice delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince2, PMBOK

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in managing implementation and business transition and adoption of MS;
• Experience using MS Project;
• Experience using contemporary project documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA).
