In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the technical delivery of major ICT initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments.

This is your chance to contribute to meaningful public sector outcomes while working in a complex, enterprise environment with modern technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Scoping and delivering cloud and on-prem solutions aligned with departmental patterns
• Designing and leading technical delivery across hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects
• Provisioning environments and ensuring successful Go Live support through ICT governance
• Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to implement integrated, secure technical plans
• Advising on technical strategy, integrations, change management, and governance processes
• Contributing expertise in cloud services, IAM, and enterprise platforms to key projects
• Authoring documentation such as high-level designs, operational guides, and support models

What you need to bring

• A strong background working in large-scale Microsoft Active Directory or Azure AD environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering IAM and Authorisation solutions across complex enterprise systems
• Proven capability using scripting or query languages such as PowerShell, T-SQL, .NET, or TCL (iRules)
• Hands-on experience implementing cloud and on-prem solutions with Azure, O365, and related Microsoft technologies
• A track record of producing high-quality documentation, including designs, support guides, and technical plans
• Confidence in engaging with diverse stakeholders and vendors, ensuring alignment across technical deliverables

Bonus points for…

• Experience leading the delivery of SaaS, PaaS, or COTS solutions in enterprise environments
• A history of contributing to projects involving Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft Teams
• Familiarity with network technologies, including experience configuring firewalls, proxies, or content filters
• Experience developing or reviewing as-built documentation, operations guides, or high-level designs
