About Us
We are a respected supplier of medical-grade detergents and consumables used in cleaning and sterilisation monitoring across hospitals and dental facilities throughout Australia. With an expanding product range and a growing customer base, we’re seeking a self-motivated and technically minded Territory Manager to support existing clients and grow new business across half of Melbourne, half of regional Victoria, and South Australia. The Melbourne and wider VIC Territories are shared with another representative.
The Role
As Territory Manager, your time will be spent on the road building relationships, supporting healthcare customers, delivering product education, and identifying new opportunities. This role suits someone who thrives in a field-based position, can work autonomously, and is passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry.
Your focus will be equally split between managing and growing existing accounts and driving business development across untapped or under-serviced areas in the territory. You’ll have the backing of a dedicated Product Manager and Sales Manager and be part of a collaborative national team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across your territory
Build strong relationships with clinical and procurement stakeholders in Sterilising Departments, including infection control, peri-operative teams, and procurement professionals in hospitals
Identify new sales opportunities and pursue market growth
Deliver high-quality product education sessions to customers and staff
Collaborate with other Territory Managers and internal teams
Report weekly on plans, wins, challenges, and competitor activity
Analyse territory performance data and contribute to monthly sales reviews
Independently develop a deep understanding of industry-relevant topics with guidance and support from the Product Manager
What We Offer
Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
Car Allowance: $18,000 annually + petrol reimbursement
Quarterly commissions based on performance

The Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced healthcare sales professional who brings both technical understanding and commercial acumen. You're self-driven, organised, and capable of managing a large and diverse territory independently.
We’re looking for someone with:
Tertiary qualifications in Science, Healthcare or Business are ideal, but not essential — if you can demonstrate the ability to quickly learn key scientific concepts and communicate them clearly in layman's terms to a broad audience
Proven success in sales to hospitals, ideally within sterilisation or surgical environments
Strong business development skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Confident presenter, able to educate and influence at all levels
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team
Excellent time management skills, highly organised, and able to meet all deadlines and company reporting requirements
A proactive, can-do mindset and a desire to grow your territory
Self-motivated, positive, and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and a curious, inquisitive nature
Someone with exceptional negotiation skills and a keen understanding of the psychology behind effective selling
Full driver’s license and Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
