The Client Our client is a leading national construction and refurbishment company with a strong presence across the commercial, hospitality, education, industrial, and health sectors. With a reputation for being a client-focused partner and a trusted name in the industry, they bring extensive experience across construction, fit-out, and refurbishment projects.
Due to unprecedented growth in New South Wales, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Sydney.

About the Role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion, typically ranging from $1M to $10M in value. You’ll serve as the central point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring the successful delivery of each project in line with time, budget, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing fit-out and refurbishment projects from concept to handover
• Leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent sites
• Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
• Managing project finances including cash flow, budget approvals, and invoicing
• Identifying and mitigating risks while maximising opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A trade background and/or qualifications in Building & Construction
• Experience with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 fit-out contractor
• A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager role
• A track record of delivering commercial fit-out projects valued between $1M and $10M
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
