Leading Hand / Foreman - Northern Beaches - High-end Residential Build

Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a Leading Hand / Foreman role.

A multiple award winning architecturally designed home builder based on the Northern Beaches has a number of projects in the area. They now require a Leading Hand / Foreman to work across multi million dollar project on the Northern Beaches.

Responsibilities:

Help manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the Site Manager

60% on tools off tools split

Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly

Help manage and coordinate subcontractors

Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations

Monitor progress

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience in a Carpenter / Leading Hand

Ideally experience working on concrete / heavy structured homes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Eagerness to learn and develop

Strong leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
