With major ongoing projects, including townhouse developments and retirement villages, we are expanding our core team.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand / Foreman to take ownership of site activities and drive the delivery of cladding and associated building works across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site operations and lead a crew of 3–10 tradesmen and labourers.

Oversee the installation of external cladding systems (Weathertex, James Hardie, etc.).

Ensure works are completed to high standards, in line with project timelines and safety protocols.

Coordinate materials, deliveries, and subcontractors on-site.

Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients to resolve site queries and communicate progress.

Maintain job records, site diaries, and ensure compliance with SWMS and site inductions.

Conduct toolbox talks and implement site safety and quality assurance procedures.

Mentor and support team members in task execution and site organisation.

You Will Need

Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in carpentry or cladding-focused construction projects.

Strong knowledge of cladding systems (Weathertex, James Hardie, timber cladding, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Excellent leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

White Card (Construction Induction).

Carpentry trade qualification preferred.

Current driver’s licence and own transport.
