Situated in the heart of the picturesque Meander Valley in Tasmania, with a friendly community feel and short drive to bush walking, waterfalls, beaches and the cities of Devonport and Launceston are just a 40min drive away.

We work with a broad range of species, including cattle, sheep, horses, goats, alpacas, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, ferrets, wildlife and more!

What’s required of you:

• Preferred (but not essential) Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Studies, or some experience with animals.
• Previous experience working in a busy, fast passed environment (but not essential).
• A friendly and happy disposition, whilst being able to empathize in what can be, at times, emotionally challenging situations
• You are a great communicator who remains calm under pressure – particularly at times where you may need to triage emergency calls
• Ability to multi task and work productively in a high paced environment
• Can demonstrate excellent skill in administration and client care and have a working knowledge of computer applications
• Highly organised, quick to learn and careful with the details and can plan ahead so there are no surprises.
• Always looking to improve by challenging the status quo and thinking outside the box.

This role will be based at our Deloraine Clinic located at 23 Beefeater Street, Deloraine, TAS, 7304
