About you
You are a great communicator with a desire to collaborate, cooperate and compromise – and people are drawn to you for your warm engaging style.
You are passionate, resilient and ready for a challenge to take this practice and their team to the next level.
You must be an experienced Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and extensive experience in the role of Cert IV or Senior Veterinary Nurse/Veterinary Nurse Manager or similar.
You must have (or be willing to obtain) Vet Nurse Registration through the VNCA.
You will be confident with surgical and hospital nursing including anaesthetics, diagnostic testing and patient monitoring etc.
You should have a desire to develop your leadership skills and previous leadership experience is desirable.
You are someone who leads by example and support your team to ensure high standards are consistently met in line with policies and procedures.
You consistently demonstrate effective communication skills with each team member, maximising their potential even in challenging conversations.
You must be able to demonstrate a high level of animal care and husbandry knowledge with the ability to carry out daily routines in all hospital areas and supervise and support junior staff.
You have a great sense of humour – to help keep up the team spirit on the days when things are tough.
