A privately owned infrastructure and logistics business in South Sydney is hiring a Financial Analyst to join its high-performing finance team. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the month-end close and deliver accurate reports within specific timeframes
• Assist with quarterly reforecasts, the annual budget process, and five-year planning
• Provide meaningful commentary and insights for internal reporting and board submissions
• Analyse data across all business operations
• Maintain and troubleshoot Power BI reports
• Follow and understand the logic behind formulas in Excel
• Own key data sets, ensuring accuracy across multiple systems
• Maintain Excel models
• Conduct manual data checks, identify anomalies, and explain variances to the business
• Get involved in ad hoc projects and broader business performance initiatives

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion) with ~3 years’ commercial experience
• Strong Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, tracing formulas)
• Power BI experience is an advantage
• Be curious, detailed, and commercially minded
• Comfortable managing multiple data sources and navigating different systems
• Confident communicator who enjoys solving problems and collaborating cross-functionally
