Gateway Business College (GBC) is a dynamic and growing Australian Higher Education provider, offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in high-demand disciplines. GBC seeks an Accounts Assistant/Student Support officer experienced in MYOB and data entry with strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
Job Role:
Minimum 6 months of experience as a data entry clerk/bookkeeper or similar role
Recording payments into Student Management System
Input daily transactions into MYOB.
Following up on students tuition fees and maintaining a record for further reporting
Assisting student's payment enquiries.
Assist with any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Commitment to work at least for 1 year.
Skills
Proficient in MYOB and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Relevant Tertiary Education
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Understanding of matching and posting payments against customer ledgers.
Understanding of spreadsheets
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work autonomously and as part of the team
Excellent time management skills
Preference will be given who have accounting experience in the Education setting.
