Our client is a highly reputable medium sized accounting practice located in the Sydney CBD. Consisting of 6 Partners and over 50 staff this firm has had a presence in the local market for a number of years. They deliver accounting compliance and advisory services to privately owned businesses up to $200million annual turnover.

The Opportunity

This position is suitable for an experienced Senior Accountant who is ready for the next progression or an existing Assistant Manager / Supervisor seeking a new environment with a clearer career pathway.

This is a crucial hire to the firm as this individual will play an integral part in the firm’s on-going success and growth in the market. Coming into an established client base, you will have a strong Business Services/Advisory background and be able to hit the ground running with the firm’s existing clients.

Responsibilities

Providing compliance and advisory services to High-Net-Worth Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients

Managing junior staff members and delegating work as required.

Requirements

CA/CPA qualified.

Experience as an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a boutique, mid-tier or Big 4 Private Clients group.

Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting

Strong communication skills

Eligible to work in Australia.
