A position is available in our company for:

Lathe Operator

Kirk Group provide Pre-Press, Engineering and imaging services to the printing and packing industries for over the past 50 years. Specialising with Gravure cylinders manufacturing and flexographic printing.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Centre Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate a centre lathe with minimal supervision and contribute to our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain centre lathes to produce precision components for cylinder manufacturing.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.

Collaborate with team leader to meet production schedules.

Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Centre Lathe Machinist with trade qualification.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Right to work in Australia.

Working hours:

- Monday: 6.00 AM - 2.30 PM

- Tuesday: 6.00 AM - 2.00 PM

- Occasional overtime may be required based on production schedules which shall be paid at penalty rates.
