We are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Mill Manufacturing Operator to join our team.

About the Role

Position: Permanent Full-Time Mill Manufacturing Operator

Location: Auburn, NSW

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri, offering flexible starting times and overtime opportunities)

This role is responsible for operations in our warehouse, assisting in manufacturing and dispatching orders around the Greater Sydney area.

The Mill Operator is primarily responsible for the efficient operation of our two mills. You will be trained to run both machines: one dedicated to processing raw grains delivered to us in bulk, and the other used to create our custom horse feeds by blending these grains according to specific formulations.

You will also be responsible for general warehouse duties including picking and packing, as well as the occasional delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and ensure smooth running of production processes.

Comply with quality standards to maintain product integrity.

Follow workplace procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.

Propose process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain stock in the production warehouse to ensure smooth operations.

Picking and packing products for dispatch.

Forklift operation for loading/unloading of trucks and managing warehouse inventory.

Loading & unloading trucks to ensure timely dispatch of orders.

Receiving and dispatching stock to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

General cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

About You

Current Driver’s License (mandatory)

Forklift License (or willingness to obtain one)

HR License (preferred, but not essential)

Physical Fitness: Must be able to carry 25kg bags and perform regular and repetitive lifting.

Excel Proficiency: Ability to use Excel for stock management and reporting.

Team Player: Ability to work well in a collaborative, small-team environment.

Punctual and Reliable: Must have high integrity and punctuality.

Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or production environments is highly desirable.

Pay is Above Award with Allowances etc.
