Perfect Opportunity to move from Reactive to Proactive.

Focus on transformation, succession planning and growth.

Focus on building partnerships between the People and Culture function and operational units to align management and people practices with strategic goals, values, and desired culture.

The role requires a blend of strategic HR partnership and operational HR support.

Form part of the P&C team as the Senior P&C Business Partner- working with a group of Leaders and Line Managers with a focus on building capability and developing leaders.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Operational: Establish relationships with leaders and line managers, providing HR advice and being a change agent for People and Culture strategies.
  • Strategic: Identify HR issues, challenges, trends, and needs, and provide recommendations and solutions.
  • Strategic: Participate in business planning processes and provide input on people and culture.
  • Strategic: Gather and analyse workforce metrics, and deliver support and guidance on HR matters and processes, including performance management, recruitment, and workplace behaviour.
  • Strategic: Identify capability development needs and assist in developing and implementing initiatives.
  • Operational: Coach managers in employee relations, conduct investigations, and manage communications with unions.

Requirements:

  • Ideally experience in NFP sector as a HR Business Partner/Manager- moving from reactive to proactive
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising team members (advanteagous).
  • Curious, empathic, and data-driven mindset.
  • Solid experience in WPR's to use as perspective when working on transformation pieces.

Additional Information:

  • The role involves some travel and flexible working hours.
  • HRIS in place
  • Rostering implementation and cross-skilling are ongoing.
  • The salary range $150,000 - $170,000 + super.
  • 3 days in office, 2 from home.
