The Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development is establishing a 12-month talent pool for PO3 Valuers to fill upcoming permanent and temporary roles across Queensland. About the role:
As a Valuer in the State Valuation Service (SVS), you'll contribute to statutory land valuations for rateable properties across Queensland under the Land Valuation Act 2010. You'll prepare valuation reports, assist with Land Court matters, and engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve complex property issues. You'll also contribute to planning, system innovation, and service delivery, helping to ensure SVS continues to meet high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
We're looking for valuers who:
• Hold a degree in land valuation (or equivalent) and have experience applying it in areal-world setting
• Are currently registered (or eligible for immediate registration) with the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland
• Bring strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to client and stakeholder engagement
• Thrive on autonomy, problem-solving, and delivering consistent, accurate work
• Are eager to grow professionally and contribute to positive team culture
• Hold a current C class driver's licence and are open to regional travel as needed
