This Junior Assistant Accountant requiring an immediate start offers a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized brand, providing a solid foundation for career advancement in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile various accounts, including general ledger, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely processing of deals by coordinating with the Administration Department.
• Regularly reconcile claims to maintain accurate records.
• Support month-end processes, including journal preparation, posting, and warranty and bailment system reconciliations.
• Prepare Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and manual purchases and submit for approval
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address financial queries and ensure smooth operations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and customers to minimize conflicts and enhance cooperation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2/3+ years prior experience in the finance and accounting space and exposure to the technical requirements
• Ambitious, up and comer who is wanting to develop and grow their career with the support and guidance of excellent leaders
• Exceptional precision and diligence in daily responsibilities, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and accountability.
