ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - RECEPTIONIST

The position is for between 30 -34 hours between the clinic opening hours of 8am - 6.15pm Monday - Friday.

Immediate start available.

The Role

The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for patients in a fast paced physiotherapy clinic. You will be working as part of a small, close-knit administration team supporting a large group of allied health professionals.

Answering enquiries and scheduling appointments

Invoicing and receipting - processing patient Eftpos, Hicaps, Medicare, DVA, Workcover, Insurance Claims and NDIS

Entering data and maintaining electronic patient files

Proactive diary and clinic management

Liaising with Workcover & Insurance Agencies, Medicare and DVA

Liaising with medical referrers and specialists

General tidying, laundering and maintaining stock levels

Supporting practitioners with administration duties

The Requirements

Exceptional Customer Service Skills on the phone and in person

The ability to multitask, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment

Pleasant, professional and caring manner

Intermediate computer skills with good attention to detail

Enjoys being part of a large, outgoing team

Familiarity with HICAPS and previous medical admin experience is favourable but not essential
