About the Company:

An ASX 200-listed property group with a strong national footprint is looking for a Development Accountant to support its expanding pipeline of residential and mixed-use development projects.

This role partners closely with Development Managers to provide end-to-end financial control, project accounting, forecasting, and commercial insights that influence the success of projects across Australia.

Role responsibilities:

Month-end processes: journals, accruals & reconciliations

Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly feasibility reviews

Support financial reporting, audit preparation, and contribute to investor information and process improvements

Track project cashflow against budgets and support feasibility reviews

Provide financial insight to development and sales teams

Support audit preparation and drive process improvement initiatives

About you:

CPA/ CA qualified Accountant with over 3 years of property development accounting experience is essential.

Strong communication skills – confident in managing auditor relationships

JDE or large ERP system exposure is ideal
