About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dr Michael Zacharia's medical practice in Double Bay, NSW as an Assistant Practice Manager / 2IC. In this full-time role, you will play a key supporting and leadership role in the smooth and efficient running of the practice.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist the Practice Manager in all aspects of practice administration and operations

Act as the second-in-command (2IC), stepping in to lead the team when the Practice Manager is away

Oversee daily clinical and non-clinical tasks, including appointment scheduling, medical records management, and billing

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and liaise with external providers

Contribute to the implementation of practice policies and procedures

Support the training and development of the administrative team

Identify opportunities for process improvements and help drive change

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience in a medical or healthcare administration role - (in a leadership role)

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders

Proficient in using medical practice management software - Genie / Hubspot - and Microsoft Office suite

Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team

Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry

Passion for providing high-quality customer service and contributing to a positive practice culture
