Sunglass Fix is a family owned, award-winning sustainable business recognised as a pioneer and global leader in the sunglass replacement lens market. Our team custom makes and installs lenses in just about any pair of sunglasses that has two separate lenses. Based in Billinudgel (Byron Bay), Australia, we service customers with replacement sunglass lenses across 161 countries.

The Role

We’re on the hunt for a Junior Social Media & Marketing assistant who can:

Ideate and execute content for Instagram, Tik Tok and You Tube based on our Sunglass Fix lens replacement solution

Plan, shoot, and edit engaging social content - testimonials videos, how to insert lenses Reels, UGC content, fun sunglass content

Schedule and manage the Instagram/Tik Tok strategy and communications

Be the “voice” of the Sunglass Fix social media to our customers - create an informative and fun Sunglass Fix look, feel and customer service tone

Schedule and manage shoots with friends, founders, athletes, ambassadors and product setups

Maintain and grow our presence across key platforms

Work with marketing team to develop and co-ordinate customer data EDM email coms with social communication strategy

Help manage and optimise ad campaigns (with room to learn e-comm systems)

Work closely with co-founders and Marketing team

This role starts as part-time 1-2 days per week with the opportunity to move into a full-time position as we grow. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home, initially you will be required 1 day per week at our warehouse / office in Billinudgel.

What we’re looking For

A creative mind with a solid understanding of current social trends

Confidence in shooting and editing short-form video content

A self-starter with great communication skills, professional tone and time management

Someone hungry to learn, especially in the world of e-commerce and paid advertising

Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, You Tube and basic editing tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.)

Some form of marketing training, degree, TAFE or online course all applicable

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience running paid ads or working in e-commerce

Skills in photography or product styling

Experience with Klavyio or another EDM platform

Interest in sunglasses, eyewear, fashion and sport
