Join the Limestone Coast Local Health Network as a Clinical Nurse – Immunisation, where your expertise will drive high-quality vaccination services across health care and community settings.
As the clinical lead for immunisation, you’ll deliver and coordinate programs aligned with national guidelines, contribute to service planning, mentor junior staff, and provide care that’s culturally responsive and person-centred. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based immunisation care across community and clinical settings
- Coordinate local immunisation programs, clinics, stock and compliance
- Lead and mentor staff while ensuring quality, safety and cultural respect
- Contribute to teaching, clinical audits, service planning and policy development
- Support people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse groups (CALD) and Aboriginal communities through tailored, inclusive care
What We’re Looking For
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
- Demonstrated competence in the area of immunisation nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- 3+ years’ nursing experience with strong clinical and leadership skills
- Knowledge of immunisation protocols and national vaccination standards
- Experience supporting diverse communities, including CALD and Aboriginal consumers
