About the Role
Mills Dental Care, a leading provider of high-quality oral health services in Papua New Guinea, is seeking a proactive and experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, support clinical and admin teams, and drive a world-class patient experience.

With 12 doctors (including 6 specialists), 8 dental assistants, and 2 receptionists, this is a dynamic role in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Employment Options

We offer flexibility for the right candidate:
Relocation to Port Moresby for the duration of the role, or
Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangements can be considered

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and support clinical and admin teams

• Conduct performance reviews and coordinate staff development

• Foster a collaborative and respectful workplace culture

Clinical Oversight & Compliance

• Ensure infection control and sterilization standards are upheld

• Monitor clinical compliance with AHPRA and PNG Medical Board

• Maintain stock of dental supplies and manage equipment

Administrative & Operational Management

• Oversee front desk operations, appointments, billing, and records

• Ensure effective use of Dental 4 Windows (D4W) software

• Manage rosters, leave approvals, and timesheet submissions

Patient Experience & Communication

• Enhance patient service delivery and communication

• Address feedback or concerns professionally

• Optimize appointment flow and reduce wait times

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

✔ Previous experience in a dental leadership role

✔ Strong familiarity with dental practice workflows and compliance

✔ Competence in using Dental 4 Windows or similar dental software

Skills & Attributes:

✔ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

✔ High attention to detail and organisation

✔ Excellent communication – both verbal and written

✔ Calm, professional, and culturally aware

Salary: Competitive package + potential relocation support
