Join the team at Aoraki Dairies' as a Dairy Cattle Farmer in Kenilworth, QLD. This full-time role is crucial to the success of our dairy farm operations, with a focus on the daily care and management of our herd of dairy cattle.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day care and feeding of our dairy cattle herd

Milking cows according to strict hygiene and quality standards

Monitoring the health and wellbeing of the herd, and providing veterinary care as needed

Ensuring the clean and efficient operation of dairy farming equipment and facilities

Collaborating with the farm management team to optimise dairy production and sustainability

What we're looking for

Significant experience in dairy cattle farming, with a strong understanding of herd management

Excellent animal husbandry skills, including the ability to identify and treat common animal health issues

Proficiency in the use of dairy farming equipment and technology

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the broader farm management team

A passion for sustainable and ethical farming practices
