About the Role

Join our Delivery Office team, which sits within the Reform and Innovation branch in the Aboriginal Affairs NSW group.

The Delivery Office plays a key role in supporting the Closing the Gap and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Land Strategy teams. In this role, you'll gain exposure to a broad and rewarding range of work that contributes directly to long-term, positive outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities across the state.

We are seeking two Project Officers to join our dynamic team:

  • In the Projects and Initiatives Team, you'll help provide project management resources and expertise to the broader Reform and Innovation Branch. You'll also support smooth operations through activities such as coordinating internal reporting and managing key meetings.
  • In the Oversight and Monitoring Team, you'll help monitor and track reforms and initiatives across the Branch, including financial tracking.

  • Work Collaboratively: You're a strong team player, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can confidently engage with colleagues, senior staff, and stakeholders
  • Project Management: You have demonstrated experience in project management and support services, including report and brief preparation, resource coordination, and project plan implementation and monitoring
  • Technical skills: You're proficient in electronic document management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic communication applications, including MS Office software
