About the role
Energybuild is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Darra, Queensland. This key role is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and supporting the financial integrity of our operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage, process, and reconcile all accounts payable transactions, including issuing remittance advices.

Reconcile contractor invoices and process weekly subcontractor payments.

Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.

Process and reconcile company credit card transactions.

Support month-end activities, including reporting and preparation of financial documentation.

Enter and manage data across various systems and platforms, generating reports as required.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on supplier invoicing matters.

Collaborate with the broader Finance team to enhance accounts payable processes.

Perform other duties as required.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.

Strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy in data entry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve queries efficiently.

Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.

Experience using Xero is highly regarded.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
