Description

• Managing the processing and payment of invoices on time and accurately
• Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Assisting in month-end closing and reporting activities
• Attending to creditor queries
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
• Matching invoices and purchase orders

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:

• 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar preferably within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry (desired)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
