As a highly regarded aged care provider, this organisation provides their residents with an unparalleled level of care, service and accommodation. With a strong brand presence in the Victorian market, they have a strong support framework led by a high quality and experienced management team.

Role
Reporting to the CEO you will oversee, risk management, regulatory knowledge, governance frameworks, and demonstrate the ability to drive improvement in care standards. You will be responsible for clinical service improvement related activities within the resident journey across the groups 8 homes located throughout Metro Melbourne.

This will include supporting operations in adopting innovative models of care, clinical practices, and work instructions as the subject matter expert in quality and clinical based activities. The role will support the implementation of strategies and collateral for the agreed repeatable models of care and clinical service improvements.

You will provide continues improvement, remediation coaching and the mentoring requirements for the care homes, rolling out clinical education programs and clinical and professional leadership development for nurses and care home teams. You will provide leadership oversight and guidance to ensure that all statutory, regulatory and accreditation obligations are met, requiring you to keep abreast of legislative and accreditation changes to ensure compliance.

Experience
We are seeking a leader with significant experience managing the delivery of clinical care with a strong quality background. You will also possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current registration with AHPRA
  • Aged Care experience
  • Qualifications in training and assessment, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in developing models of care and change management strategies
  • Highly developed communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in developing policy, procedures and work instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering education strategies supporting change processes

Benefits
