Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Compliance will support a range of activities across the Compliance Incident Management, Compliance Oversight, and Compliance Monitoring & Insights teams. The role offers the opportunity to lead people, shape regulatory responses, drive improvements in compliance maturity, and advise on critical risk matters. It requires adaptability and a willingness to work across multiple functions to help deliver on enterprise-wide goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting regulatory change and thematic reviews (e.g., Privacy Act Review)
• Advising the business on compliance risk management practices
• Managing regulatory compliance incidents and stakeholder communications
• Leading or contributing to regulatory lodgements and submissions
• Developing insights, tools, and reports to improve risk visibility and control

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a Line 2 compliance or similar function, within general insurance
• In-depth knowledge of APRA, ASIC, GI Code, Corporations Act, and related frameworks
• Legal qualifications or financial services compliance background strongly preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to think analytically, use data-driven insights, and operate in change environments
• Resilience, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset essential
