The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

About the Role?
The Community Engagement Coordinator will lead a team of Community Engagement Officers, overseeing the planning and coordination of regional community engagement activities. This role involves establishing and maintaining systems for collecting, analysing, and reporting community feedback, including writing reports and overseeing the creation of dashboards. The coordinator will work collaboratively with IUIH Network members towards collective and autonomous approaches to propa community engagement.
Day to Day Duties Include:
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of Community Engagement Officers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate participation in regional community engagement activities, including large-scale events and community yarns.
- Systems Management: Establish and maintain systems for the collection, analysis, and reporting of the voices of our people.
- Information Dissemination: Develop dashboards and write comprehensive reports to communicate findings, ensuring that insights are shared back with the community in an accessible and transparent manner.
- Integration: Establish and maintain systems and processes which ensure policy and decision-making is informed by the voices of our people.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with IUIH Network members and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective community engagement activities.
- Implementation of Strategy: Implement the IUIH Regional Community Engagement Strategy to enhance community involvement and impact
About You?

- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
