About the role

First Aid Training Group is seeking Event First Aid Responders to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves providing high-quality first aid services at a variety of community and corporate events in Ballarat and surrounds. As an Event First Aid Responder, you will be responsible for attending events, assessing and treating any medical emergencies or first aid situations that arise, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of event attendees.

What you'll be doing

Attending events and setting up a first aid station or area

Assessing and providing appropriate first aid treatment to individuals in need

Maintaining accurate records of any first aid interventions

Communicating with event organisers and emergency services as needed

Ensuring a professional and responsive approach to all first aid situations

What we're looking for

Current Advanced First Aid Certificate (HLTAID014, HLTAID015 or equivalent), or ability to attend one of our courses.

Healthcare or Emergency Services background (students currently studying are encouraged to apply)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Current Working With Children's Check

Current Drivers Licence and own, reliable transport
