ASSIST Medics is a Sunshine Coast owned and operated company specialising in providing quality, professional first aid and medical services for sports and sporting events.
Assist Medics provide first aid and medical services for a wide range of sporting and community events including; three hour school sports, A-grade sports matches, club sports days, community festivals and international sporting events.
ASSIST Medics is the sister organisation of the well regarded registered training organisation ASSIST First Aid (RTO #32022).
About the Role
We are looking for people to join our team as sports and events First Aiders / Medics. Our team members are;
Based in or close to the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane.
All ages and come from all walks of life. A medical background is not required. The most important attributes are liking sports and having the right attitude.
Good with people and establishing rapport.
Love sports and events (predominantly we cover sport, but also some community events).
Team players who are self-motivated, reliable and can work autonomously.
Confident using a computer and have good written skills.
Show attention to detail, are well organised and have time management skills.
Available to work at different times and or locations.
Application Requirements
Successful applicants will be employed as a First Aiders / Medic on a casual basis. There is an initial probation period of three months, to make sure it’s working well for you and for us.
Applicants must have:
Current first aid and CPR certificates (If you don’t have these first aid certificates, but feel you would be a great Sport & Events First Aider / Medic, you are still welcome to apply. We can help you obtain your first aid certificates as we are also a registered training organisation).
A paid Working with Children Check/Blue Card.
A current drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
