Casual First Aid Officer/Sports Trainer

On The Ball First Aid provides access to qualified and trained first aid officers and physiotherapists for Sydney-based sporting associations, clubs and individual teams.

About the role

As a casual first aid officer you will join a growing team working each weekend across Sydney looking after players, mainly in junior rugby union and AFL.

In the role you will:

Provide immediate first aid at weekend sporting events

Assess and treat injuries, illnesses and emergencies

Coordinate with event organisers and medical professionals when necessary

Maintain appropriate records

Have access to support from a senior physiotherapist

About you

On The Ball First Aid is looking for motivated individuals who have a passion for care, and sport.

You will have:

Current First Aid Certificate

Current Working with Children’s check

Strong knowledge of first aid practices, particularly in a sports setting

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Availability on weekends for rugby union fixtures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable: SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer
