Laissez faire Catering is looking for an accounting assistant/Graduate accountant to work on a part-time contract between May to August 2025.

As the Accounting Assistant / Graduate Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the company’s finance function. The role requires general accounting knowledge, MYOB skill, and ownership-taking. You will work with a supportive team to guide you. This role reports into our financial accountant and is based in Alexandria, NSW.

We are looking for someone who is immediately available.

Responsibilities:

Record accounts payables and receivables

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Timesheet review for payroll processing

Maintain accurate financial records

Assist with administrative and office duties as required

Any ad-hoc tasks that are required

Qualifications:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Prior experience in bookkeeping

Previous experience working with MYOB

Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a small team environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Have Australian work rights
