We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin/ Accounting Assistant to support our accountants. The ideal candidate will assist in various administrative and accounting tasks, including reception work, bookkeeping, data entry, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Administrative work such as answering the phone, lodging tax returns, filing paperwork.
· Assist the accountants in preparing financial statements and reports.
· Maintain and update accounting records and databases.
· Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
· Support the preparation of tax returns, bookkeeping and audits.
· Communicate with clients regarding financial inquiries.
· Help with the implementation of accounting software and systems.
· Carry out other administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting team.
Qualifications:
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
· Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is helpful but not necessary.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to use Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
