We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Assembly Technician / Panel Builder to join our growing team in NSW.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical panels according to design specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
Cut, drill, file, wire, and assemble components as needed for the assembly of control panels and switchboards.
Test and troubleshoot panels to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring full functionality before dispatch.
Follow schematic and mechanical drawings to ensure correct assembly of electrical and mechanical components.
Collaborate with team members to identify system improvements and refine assembly processes.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
Participate in the loading, unloading, and handling of goods as required.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organisation in the workshop.
Complete necessary administrative duties related to the panel assembly process.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in electrical panel building or similar assembly roles, ideally within the industrial or construction industries (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Experience using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic Safety Training, such as an Industrial White Card (preferred).
Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
A logical and practical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift Licence
White Card.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
