Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Assemblers and Technicians for Workshop based work in Ingleburn.

This is initially a 2-month role with the possibility of extension.

The Client:
A large Workshop base in Ingleburn that specialises in the assembly of mobile speed camera equipment.

• Saturday overtime available
• 9am – 5pm shift pattern

• $44.85 p/hr + Super

The Role: Technician / Assembler
Your main duties will involve:

• Basic assembly work
• Following plans and drawings and installing base nuts, bolts and frames to trailers, Booms, Beams and shells of camera equipment
• Production Bench line assembly work
• Panel building and installing onto equipment
• Follow work instructions and technical drawings to ensure product quality.
• Installation of wiring and panels into trailers and mobile speed camera equipment
• Assembly and installation of Stationary camera equipment and Booms
• Electrical component Assembly
• Connecting of optical wiring
• Assemble electrical panels by following provided assembly sheets.
• Prepare product components to be assembled and quality-tested
• Inspect sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance to documentation
• Simple low voltage electronic testing
• Connect and secure cables and wires to the appropriate components.
• Inspect completed panels for accuracy and completeness.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications

The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining these roles you have the following experience:

• Previous experience in assembly work with working in electronics, Trades Assistant or Electrical assembly roles being advantageous
• Hand and power tool operating experience
• Experience with electronic / electrical wiring
• Electrical component assembly experience
• Pop and rivet gun experience
• Soldiering experience
• You will need to complete a Police check for this role
• You will need to hold a valid NSW Drivers license and have a clean driving record for this role

Advantageous:

• Forklift license
• Tertiary qualifications in electronics Assembly or a similar field
