On behalf of my clients who operate in the Defence space, I am currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who has a background in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Due to the nature of the work only candidates that hold NV1 or above clearance can be considered.

The role will be based on client's site in Melbourne and is being offered as a long-term day rate contract.

Responsibilities will include:

Requirements, design, development (or selection), integration, verification and delivery activities.

Preparing, reviewing and approving (as required) project management and engineering deliverables meeting quality, schedule and cost objectives.

Analysing documents and amendments

Executing design, analysis, or evaluation of projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

Documenting technical data and ensure consistency with company engineering policies and procedures.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

Systems Engineer with a background in Mechanical or electrical engineering.

MUST be Eligible to be delegated Engineering Authority

8+ years' experience gained in a similar role

NV1 or above clearance (MANDATORY)

Any experience within Safety Assurance would be highly advantageous.
