Body Corporate Strata Group (https://www.bodycorporatestrata.com.au) is currently seeking a friendly, focused, and detail oriented full-time Owners Corporation Manager to join our growing team. Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely within the Melbourne/Victoria areas, or, if you prefer, you can work from one of our branch locations located in the inner and outer suburbs.

About Your Role

As an Owners Corporation Manager, reporting to the Team Leader, you will work to manage a portfolio of Commercial/ Industrial Owners Corporations by liaising, advising, and working with Owners Corporation members and committees. You will have a dedicated client coordinator to assist with all client-related inquiries and ensure seamless communication and support. Your strong work ethic will be essential as you work to ensure properties are managed efficiently and effectively while also working to build genuine business relationships with various stakeholders that are based on trust and mutual success. Your ability to multi-task will come in handy as you balance various priorities related to Strata management such as assisting with finances, handling insurance, coordinating administrative items and meetings, and overseeing maintenance functions. In the end, your goal is to assist with running the owners corporations by managing an extensive property portfolio while providing high levels of customer service.

Job Responsibilities

Manage expansive commercial/ industrial property portfolio while ensuring effective management and operations of properties

Build effective long-lasting business relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues

Oversee insurance-related matters to include claims, renewals, and Owner's queries

Manage correspondence with Owners, contractors, and other third parties

Answer day-to-day telephone and e-mail inquires

Create and propose budgets each financial year

Coordinate and arrange maintenance-related tasks

Issue key notices as needed for the properties

Advise Owners on matters of Body Corporate law and procedure

Manage disputes that may arise while working on a sound resolution

Run and attend Committee meetings while also taking meeting minutes as needed

Your Qualifications:

One year experience working in customer service (preferred)

Experience working in property management or real-estate (preferred)

Strong work ethic

Excellent computer skills

Genuine interest and passion for property management

Ability to build effective business relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Excellent problem-solving skills with sound judgement

Have a strong determination to succeed

Willingness to visit properties on an as needed basis
