Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Officer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Accurately process and reconcile daily customer payments
• Regularly review debtor accounts and flag potential risks
• Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices while preserving strong customer relationships
• Manage credit applications and conduct reference checks
• Set up new customer accounts following credit approval
• Periodically evaluate credit limits and make recommendations
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and manage a shared collections inbox
• Maintain accurate financial data and ensure confidentiality of customer information
• Work closely with sales account managers to provide actionable customer activity reports
• Assist with improving systems and streamlining credit processes

About You

• At least 2 years’ experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
• Familiarity with Pronto ERP
• Solid knowledge of customer account processes and credit control principles
• Certificate IV in Accounting (or equivalent qualification) is highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Analytical mindset with experience compiling reports and interpreting financial data
• Effective time management and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
• A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Confident using Microsoft Excel
