About the Role:

Reporting to the NSW Plant Manager, the Afternoon Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations at the Smeaton Grange site during the afternoon shift. You will lead a team of production personnel, ensuring targets are met, quality is maintained, and safety standards are upheld. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong coordination, communication, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the afternoon shift and lead a team of production operators;
• Ensure daily production plans are met safely, efficiently, and on time;
• Liaise with Maintenance, Quality, and Dispatch to ensure operational flow;
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring all safety procedures are followed;
• Monitor downtime, product quality, and production costs;
• Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards; and
• Complete accurate shift reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing;
• Strong understanding of WHS, quality, and production systems, ERP;
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example;
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; and
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
