ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the business as part of our internal Finance team and work with other teams to ensure data is processed in an accurate and timely fashion. For the right candidate Sitex are open to this position being either full-time or part-time hours.
The position’s primary responsibilities are:
Manage cashbook and allocate debtor payments
Process and allocate cash sale receipts and B point transactions
Follow up on overdue amounts and manage customer accounts
Address customer queries and resolve disputes promptly
Manage and maintain Ezy collect system
Liaise with Payables department to ensure smooth financial operations
Reconcile cash customer accounts regularly
Raise credits in Syrinx system as required
Upload invoices to SAP system accurately and timely
Maintain debtors in MYOB accounting software
Prepare and issue customer statements
Collaborate with insurance team on related issues
Maintain register of customer's insurance certificate of currency
Actively participate in all scheduled meetings and training.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 5 years experience in the same or similar position.
Prepared to commence within 4 weeks.
Very strong attention to detail – this is crucial in this role.
Strong time management, with an ability to manage tasks and competing priorities.
Proven examples of collaborating and communicating with a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
An understanding of basic accounting principles.
