Our company specialises in providing School and Urban bus services in Southeast Melbourne. We are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join our Cranbourne based team.

About the role

The role of the Workshop Supervisor is, but not limited to:

• Support the maintenance staff in their role of managing the Pulitano Group’s fleet of vehicles.
• Perform the duties of a mechanic.
• Perform duties as requested to support the Workshop Manager.
• Support in-house workshop trade staff are carrying out maintenance and repair to a level that ensures bus safety and roadworthiness.

Skills and experience

To be successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

• Experience in leading a heavy vehicle workshop;
• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade;
• Experience in fleet management and preventative maintenance programs;
• Problem solving skills, strategic thinker, attention to detail;
• Experience and knowledge of Department of Transport legislation including inspections and compliance audits (preferred);
• Intermediate computer skills – ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite;
• Hold a valid MR/HR licence;
• Strong Diagnosis Skills;
• Experience on Scania Chassis (preferred).
