Kangaroo Flat Auto Services is on the lookout for a Workshop Manager to join our growing team in Bendigo! We’re a busy, locally trusted automotive workshop providing everything from mechanical repairs, roadworthy certificates and VIV Inspections — and we need someone who’s organized, hands-on, and ready to lead from the front.

📌 A Mechanic’s License is required for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

Running the day-to-day operations of the workshop

Scheduling jobs per employee and keeping the workflow smooth and efficient

Team Leadership & Culture – Motivate, guide, and support the team, ensuring a productive and fun workplace environment.

Liaising with our sales/admin team about repairs, timeframes, and costs

Quality Control – Inspect completed work for accuracy and uphold our high standards before returning vehicles to customers.

Making sure the workshop stays safe, clean and compliant

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Workshop Manager or a Senior Technician ready for the next step!

Mechanic’s License (REQUIRED) – You must be a qualified mechanic to apply for this role.

Good mechanical knowledge (with Roadworthy License is a bonus - can be provided).

Strong leadership and communication skills

Someone who’s organized, reliable, and good with people

A current Australian driver’s license
