Industrial Maintenance / Projects Fitter

IRIS Integration is a growing engineering and automation business with teams in QLD, VIC, WA and TAS.

We pride ourselves on providing turn-key project solutions and high level maintenance services to key major clients around Australia.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Mechanical division in Queensland, working primarily in the bulk materials handling and Cement manufacturing industries.

Reporting to your Mechanical Supervisor on a day to day basis the position will include servicing our existing clients, as well as working together to create further opportunities.

Primary functions of this role:

· Preventative maintenance.

· Investigating mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic system problems.

· Breakdowns and fault finding.

· Repair, replace and install field equipment.

· Plant upgrades.

Key skills and experience:

· Mechanical trade qualification.

· Minimum 3-year post trade experience.

· Basic computer skills.

· Excellent attitude towards health and safety.

· High level of written and verbal communication.

· Current manual driver's licence.

Bonus skills:

· Creative approach to problem solving.

· Aptitude for designing solutions and improvements.

· Forklift, EWP, Working at heights and confined space tickets are preferred, but can provide training for the right applicant.
