Role Overview

As Products for Industry (PFi) continues to expand, we are seeking experienced and adaptable Fitters to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment across a wide range of industries.

You’ll work both in our workshop and on client sites, supporting everything from new system builds to breakdowns and shutdowns. This role offers variety, the opportunity to develop your skills, and the chance to be part of a collaborative, solutions-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

Installing assembled conveyors and mechanical systems

Shutdowns, Breakdown & Maintenance - Industrial Sites

Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, including overhauling equipment and mechanical parts

Installing various systems produced by PFi and OEM suppliers

Using precision measuring instruments to assess accuracy, clearance, and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts

Operating equipment efficiently

Following production requirements detailed on Job Sheets and Manufacturing Work Instructions

We're looking for candidates who possess the following:

Essential

Extensive experience in mechanical fitting within the industry

Strong knowledge of the Service and Manufacturing industry

Willingness to broaden your skillset

Experience in responding to and satisfying customer needs

Highly organized, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads

A strong customer service focus and dedicated work ethic

Sound mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge

Experience operating a variety of machinery

Demonstrated flexibility with job tasks

Ability to participate in ongoing training and openness to new ideas

Commitment to safety and quality, adhering to Health & Safety Policies and Procedures

Team player mindset, willing to contribute towards business targets

Availability to work full-time hours with potential for overtime

Desirable

Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Working at heights Licences and Q Fever vaccinated
