We are currently looking for Maintenance and Mechanical Project Fitters for site installation work to complete a full upgrade / refurb on a manufacturing facility. Ongoing work on offer for a range of large scale maintenance and new project contracts for various manufacturing factories.
Both positions are ongoing with the opportunity to go full time at 6 months, multiple positions on offer.

Job Details:

• $55.00/PH + Overtime, Penalties (Negotiable FT Rate)
• 6:00am - 4pm Monday to Friday
• North And Southside sites available
• Multiple positions on offer - Project or Maintenance
• Trade Assistants and Pipe Welders also needed on site

Responsibilities

• Factory on site installation and upgrade work for a manufacturing facility
• Installing new packaging equipment conveyor belts and other production machinery
• Relocating some older equipment into another part of the factory
• Mechanical maintenance and repair work across both workshop and on-site.
• Duties include fault finding, attending to breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and carrying out on-site troubleshooting.
• Working on heavy industrial equipment such as conveyors, mills, and other fixed plant machinery.
• Pipe Welders and Mech TA's

Requirements

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience as a mechanical project fitter or maintenance fitter
• Experience with project work, factory installations / plant upgrades or breakdowns and preventative maintenance
• Drivers licence and reliable transport
