About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our integrated security offerings. You will represent a suite of services including electronic security, mobile patrols, concierge, and static guarding across sectors such as commercial, residential, retail, and government.
This is a full-spectrum business development role focused on lead generation, stakeholder engagement, quoting, and deal conversion. The ideal candidate is technically knowledgeable in security systems and thrives on building long-term client relationships with strata managers, developers, property managers, and facility operators. Key duties include:
- Promote and sell tailored security service solutions, with a focus on electronic security systems
- Prepare competitive quotes and proposals, leveraging your technical expertise and market insight
- Lead the full sales cycle – from prospecting and presenting to negotiation and contract closure
- Engage and build strong relationships with key stakeholders including strata committees, owners corporations, and commercial decision-makers
- Attend scheduled committee and client meetings to present services and manage expectations
- Collaborate with operations and client relationship teams to ensure seamless service implementation
- Research and identify new opportunities via platforms like EstimateOne, tender portals, and industry networks
- Deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients highlighting service capabilities and value
- Provide monthly reporting on pipeline activity, quotes submitted, and conversion rates
- Work closely with marketing to support campaigns and sales material development
- Monitor client satisfaction and coordinate with internal teams to address post-sale issues

Skills and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in business development within the security industry, with a focus on electronic security solutions
- Strong understanding of access control, alarm, CCTV, and integrated systems
- Experience quoting and scoping electronic security solutions for commercial and residential sites
- Familiarity with strata schemes, WHS, and relevant security regulations
- Current NSW Class 2B & 2C Security Licence and Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Strong time management, organisation, and presentation skills
- Proficient with CRM tools, proposal software, and Microsoft Office
- Confident, calm under pressure, and results-driven with a passion for growth
