About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential in-home and community-based support to individuals living with a disability. This may include personal care, domestic assistance, transport, medication support, and meaningful engagement in community or recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide person-centred support tailored to individual client needs.

Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Promote independence and community inclusion.

Support with behaviour management, medication administration, and mobility assistance (where required).

Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes.

Essential Requirements:

Willingness and ability to travel to clients throughout Central West NSW.

Availability to work a variety of shifts including day, evening, weekends, and sleepovers as part of a 24/7 roster.

Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.

Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting people with dignity and respect.

Desirable:

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar.

Previous experience working in disability support or related field.
