Lead finance, governance, operations and administration in a respected national organisation.

Australian Dairy Farmers (ADF) is the peak national body representing Australian dairy farmers. As a not-for-profit, member-based organisation, ADF works across government, industry and the community to support a sustainable, competitive and forward-looking dairy sector. ADF also provides governance and secretariat support to the Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC).

We are seeking a capable and experienced Corporate Services Manager to lead a broad portfolio including finance, governance, operations, membership and administration. This newly created, hands-on role reflects a refreshed structure and reports directly to the CEO. It works closely with the Board, senior staff and outsourced providers to ensure smooth organisational delivery.

The role does not have internal direct reports; however it will be supported by and have oversight of key external service providers.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, and corpus fund oversight

Coordinating governance processes, Board and Committee meetings, AGMs, elections, and compliance reporting

Managing contracts, funded projects, grants and sponsorships, and member services and associated systems

Overseeing outsourced services including finance, IT, payroll, and administration, ensuring smooth operational delivery

Supporting internal administration including board papers, service provider coordination, reporting, and logistics for the Policy Team and National Council

Desirable:

Qualifications in finance, business, or governance

CPA, CA, or AICD accreditation (or working towards)

Experience in a not-for-profit, membership, or advocacy setting

Understanding of the Australian dairy or agricultural sector

This is a full-time role based in ADF’s Melbourne office. Occasional interstate travel may be required. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
