Exeter General Store is a bustling community hub and destination cafe in the beautiful village of Exeter in the Southern Highlands. We are passionate about serving consistently delicious coffee and meals, paired with authentic friendly service from our team.

We offer team members an organised and positive place to work, in our recently refurbished cafe. You will be joining a well-established friendly and supportive team environment and be able to develop long-term relationships with a community of regular customers.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team and provide our customers with a great cafe experience.

Chef / cook

We are looking for an additional experienced cook/chef to join our existing kitchen team. You will work as part of an equal pair alongside another cook/chef on-shift to prepare quality cafe meals, undertaking both batch preparation and line cooking in our recently refitted kitchen. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work collaboratively and communicate well. Ideally you will have at least one year commercial cooking experience.

The position is available as either a full-time or part-time position, with flexibility in hours per week depending on your needs. Rosters are consistent and published well in-advance. Proper breaks and no overtime required. Shift timings 7am-3pm. Some weekend availability is essential for this role (Sundays).
